Pasir Putih beach is one of my favorite beach in Java island. This beach located at Kabupaten (district) Trenggalek, East Java Province. It is about 2 hour driving from Ponorogo (the reog city), or about 2.5 hour driving from Madiun. It is between Trenggalek and Tulungagung districts. From Trenggalek you just follow the road to the Parigi beach trenggalek, the most famous beach, then follow the road to Karanggongso, you can find this beach on the right hand side. By public transport, you can use bus from Ponorogo or Tulungagung to reach Trenggalek, there you can find mini bus to reach this beach.
I love this beach, cause there you still can find clear, clean beach with white sand, and for sure swimming is the best choice to do in this beach. It"s protected by small island which facing directly to the beach. So, it is safe enough though you are the first time swimming in the sea. Good for family"s picnik. Some living coral you still can find a llittle bit further close to the open ocean.
There you can find very cheap foods, say 1 euro you can get rice with fish, big enough fish and fresh from the ocean. 1.5 euro you can get one plate of speise schrimp. I bet once you get there you want to come there again and again..
